The Venice Art Crawl’s mission is to foster and reinvigorate the creativity that has historically and currently makes Venice such a vibrant and dynamic community. Our goal is to share, inspire and promote collaboration within the Venice community through mixers and art events. We are an all volunteer run non-profit organization.

Join us by attending, sharing your vision and what inspires you.

Note:There will be a $25 fee for all participating venues starting June, 2014. This gets you all relevant VAC marketing materials (banners, posters, maps), and a spot on the official VAC map.

Join us for our upcoming 2016 Venice Art Crawls! Our 2016 dates are March 17, May 19, July 21, and September 15. Get ready for your event and submit your information for the March 17, 2016 VAC by March 1st!

6 Rose Ave, Venice, 90291 6pm-12am

In participation with The Venice Art Crawl, A+K invite you for a charming evening of art, music, community, and specialty cocktails. For one night only, the Rose Room will open it’s doors to showcase multi-media artists Amber and Kerisa Denison, photographer Luba Salps, live music and more.

Amber + Kerisa Denison: www.amberandkerisa.com
In 2012, twin sisters Amber & Kerisa Denison joined creative forces to form A + K,  a multi-media arts team specializing in visual art, photography, interior/set design, costume design, and modeling.

Together the twins create and curate exceptional bodies of work by inspiring and complementing one another’s unique creative styles and talents.  Currently based in Los Angeles, A + K work collectively to harness their crafts and bring imagination to life.

Luba Salps Bio: lubasalp.com
Luba Salp is an artist, surfer and cinematographer located in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Moscow, Russia, Luba got her education in the UK, France, and Australia until settling in California where she found the most inspiration for her work.

Ambivalence is a series of photographs taken while surfing in Manhattan Beach, California. Each photograph captures the moment when a wave is about to break. This moment – one of simultaneous dread and supreme joy – represents opposing yet inseparable sides of the surfing experience. When this moment is captured as a still image and the dimension of time is removed, it opens up to an entirely abstract perception.

The Lincoln’s designer/co-owner Matt Winter, an ardent collector, discovered a cache of nearly 60 very unusual drawings by an unknown engineer/mechanic who also sidelined as a sketch artist.  A number of them are on permanent display in the Lincoln and for the Art Crawl on the night we’re putting a number of additional pieces on display. Though the identity of the artist and his subjects is lost to time, the exhibition shows the evolution of his style and skill and a window into a forgotten world, rediscovered for your appreciation.
